Welcome to the 1996 MacHack CD-ROM. This CD contains hacks, papers, pictures and other memorabilia from MacHack '96. It also contains materials from previous MacHack conferences.
Some materials have restrictions on their redistribution. These restrictions are noted in the individual information documents included with the materials. You may not distribute any materials on this disk without first checking with the contributors unless its associated information document clearly states that it may be redistributed. It is your responsibility to get permission before distributing files on this disk.
More than 60 hacks were submitted at MacHack ’96; many with source code. Nearly all of them are included on this CD. The hacks are all in the "Hacks" folder, of course, along with all the hacks from prior years.
New to MacHack ’96 was Web-based hack submissions. That has allowed us to include a database of all the ’96 hacks with descriptions written by the authors. Check out the "Hacks Database" in the "Other Stuff ’96" folder.
We want your feedback! We think this year's CD is one of the best. After all, it has more hacks and source code than ever before. (Easy, right? We just keep adding to it. ;-) Tell us what you think of this version of the MacHack CD by sending email to <machack-cd-feedback@machack.com>.
